This little yellow dump truck came to the beach with us.

And I’m so glad it did!

Right now, it goes everywhere he goes.

And when I look at these photos, I go straight back to my own children’s childhood. It’s often the smallest things that take us back there.

Their favourite superhero costume.
The little toy they took everywhere.
The thing that always had to come in the car.

They’re not distractions.

They are the story. And I want you to bring them. 🤍

Hannah’s beautiful family was one of the lucky families who won a family session at the Baby On The Move Nelson Grand Opening 🎉

And what an absolute pleasure it was to photograph their family.

We spent the evening soaking in the last of the light, while playing at the beach. And of course, the little yellow truck came too. 🤍
