Triumph Riders Motorcycle Club Nelson Chapter

A stunning day for the Nelson chapter ride on Sunday 🌞. Two visitors joined us, with one leaving early for work. Just a short local ride so that three of ours could attend the online National Committee meeting.
We got to The Moutere Inn nearly an hour before opening time - my bad; checked the website menu, forgot the opening hours 🙄.
Onward to The Grape Escape for lunch alfresco in their large garden; a great place, location & food. A good time out in Tasman 👌🙌

Chapter ride this Sunday 2nd August.
Destination The Moutere Inn, then The Grape Escape Cafe.
Meet at NPD Lower Queen St, Richmond, departing at 10:30am.
Non-members on BEARs bikes also welcome.

For a few of us from Nelson and Marlborough that couldnt get South to the Timaru Matariki Dice Run due to road closures we had a catch up in Tasman over the weekend.

Great ride to Canvastown yesterday. Even the sun came out for us.

Meet at BP Haven Rd by 10am, departing at 10:15am sharp.
Weather permitting - will confirm by Saturday evening.
If wet, Sunday 12th July will be the ride day.

Update: A few members are keen so the ride is on.

It was good to get out for our chapter ride on Sunday up to Owen River Tavern, though watching the temp gauge on the bike drop to 8 degrees meant for a chilly ride at that elevation (better harden up buttercup for Timaru’s July 10-11 Matariki dice run 🥶). Nice stop for some of us at Kohatu Flat Rock Cafe before the group halved for home - 4 of us going through the picturesque Motueka Valley & Dovedale. So good to have the sun out after all the bad weather 🌞

Nelson Chapter ride this Sunday 07 June. Destination the Owen River Tavern for lunch (numbers needed), & a refreshment stop at Kohatu Flat Rock Cafe on the return. All BEARs bikes welcome. No Hi Viz 😎

Registration venue has changed folks,
The high country poker run will now be leaving from the Racecourse Hotel, Sockburn.
Anyone from out of town can stay at the hotel/motel on the Friday.
