I’m originally from Westport and have recently moved back home with my family. It’s great to be back in the community I grew up in, and I’m really excited to continue growing LSB Cleaning here on the Coast. ❤️

Cleaning isn’t just a job to me. It’s something I’m genuinely extremely good at and take a huge amount of pride in.
After 18 years in the cleaning industry, I know the difference between simply giving something a quick clean and leaving a property properly cleaned to a professional standard.
I started LSB Cleaning in Nelson 5 years ago, where I’ve built an established small business with an amazing team and wonderful long-term clients.
Now that I’m back in Westport, I’ve been opening up more spaces here alongside my sister and a small team of staff.

This one is incredibly important to me personally.
Buller and the West Coast are my home. This is where I’m from, where my family is from, where we have built our lives, and a community that will always mean so much to me.
I fully support the Buller Plateaux Continuation Project and the continuation of Stockton Mine.
This isn't only about mining. It's about families, jobs, small businesses and the future of the communities we call home.
My own family is connected to the mining industry, and as the owner of LSB Cleaning, I also understand how much our local businesses rely on a strong local economy. When hundreds of people have secure jobs, that income flows throughout our entire community — supporting cleaners, tradespeople, shops, supermarkets, cafés, sports clubs, schools and so many other businesses and organisations.
When a major industry disappears, it doesn't only affect the people working directly for it. The impact flows through every part of our community.
I want our children to be able to grow up here and have opportunities here. I don't want to see families having to move away for work, businesses struggling or closing, or our towns losing the people and services that keep them alive.
Of course our environment matters, and mining must be carried out responsibly. But I believe we can protect our environment while also protecting the livelihoods of the people who live here.
