📣 We're reviewing our Trust Deed & we need your input and whakaaro to get it right.
🧐 What’s a Trust Deed & why does it matter?
👉🏽 The Trust Deed sets out the rules, practices, kawa & tikanga for how the Trust must operate to look after our settlement.
🧐 Why is the Trust Deed being reviewed?
👉🏽 We need to ensure the Trust Deed is a relevant, living document that’s fit for purpose & serves us well. We are asking:
❓ Does the Trust Deed still reflect the aspirations & priorities of the people it serves
❓ Does it do what it says it will do, & does it enable the Trust to operate effectively & transparently
❓ Are there provisions that have become outdated, unclear, or misaligned with current practice or the Trust’s evolving vision
🤓 What happens next?
👍🏽 Once we have your whakaaro, we’ll identify the themes & share these with you. After the review, the proposed amendments to the Trust Deed will be written & we’ll share these with you. A Special General Meeting will then be held for all our registered members to vote on the proposed amendments.

Tukuna te rangatahi kia tū, kia whanake
Allow youth the opportunity to grow
Inspired by our Rangatahi, for our Rangatahi.
From 26-28 September our Ngā Rangatira mō Āpōpō summit was held at Hau Ariki Marae. Here is a snippet of the weekend, where our Rangatahi deeply connected with their whenua, the taiao and each other, grounding themselves in their culture, whakapapa and tuakiritanga. From gathering and preparing rongoā, to walking their whenua, governance with a Māori lens, financial literacy, learning waiata and karakia with a whole lot of yummy kai and fun in between!
