Delbakes is now decorating for The Cake Mixer in Howick (Previously The Cake Box). The store has new owners and been completely renovated. With a fresh new modern look, now serving coffee and cakes. A beautiful colour wall, with oh soooooo many sprinkles!!

A big congratulations to Leah and Gary who were married on the weekend. I love the way some cakes all come together at the venue. The fruit and flowers gave this cake a sence of abundance and deliciousness.

I made this beautiful wedding cake for Nicholle and Paul last weekend. They had a gorgeous colour palette of fuschia, violet and orange. And they had beautiful sunny day to go with their tropical location at Landsendt, Oratia

They picked delicious flavours;

Vanilla Cake with Raspberry Coulis and White Chocolate Butter Cream
Rich Moist Chocolate Cake with Caramel Sauce and Caramel Butter Cream Filling

I was really honored to make my baby nieces wedding cake on the weekend. We designed it together and stuffed it full of delicious flavours.

I love the way naked cakes all come together when you add the flowers and topper. It was a perfect complement to their rustic and relaxed wedding.

A big congratulations to Richard and Daria who were married on the weekend at Sorrento at One Tree Hill. This beautiful cake was a 3 teir Buttercream cake with fresh flowers.

" Aged to perfection " this wine barrel cake was made for a special 60th birthday party. I really love making cakes like this. Handmade sugar grapes and an air brush finish on the barrel

The barrel is a delish Vanilla Caramel cake with homemade salted Caramel sauce and buttercream. Yummm!

A big congratulations to Asad and Rabia. I was extremely honored to make this amazing cake.

I loved making all the handmade cherry blossom, and edible gold lace.

One flavour for the entire cake: Delicious Ginger cake made with Fresh Ginger and Ginger Marmalade with a Ginger infused Buttercream Filling.

Simple but delicious bold flavours - was the brief for this one. Lemon syrup cake with lemon buttercream and passion fruit curd. Topped with fresh flowers and white chocolate truffles. What a delicious way to celebrate a birthday!!

Yes! Check another cake off the wish list a 'Geode Cake'. Marbled fondant with gold veining and a crevice filled with delicious rock candy.

I whipped this cake up last night for one of the team at Carl's work.

I can finally show you these beautiful tasting cakes. The wedding was yesterday and I got to set the final cake up at the Hilton in Auckland CBD. These little cakes were great fun to make and experiment with.

You will have to wait to see the final wedding cake.....
