Last Wednesday we celebrated two very special volunteers, Mary and Sue, who have each dedicated 10 years of service to Riding for the Disabled.

Mary has a special gift for building strong bonds of trust with our riders. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care help our riders feel safe, confident, and supported every step of the way.
Sue is always willing to lend a helping hand, whether she's side walking, leading horses, helping with the dishes, or simply stepping in wherever she's needed. Her dedication and cheerful attitude make her an invaluable part of our RDA family.
Thank you both for your incredible commitment, compassion, and the countless hours you've given over the past 10 years. We are so grateful for everything you do and are proud to celebrate this wonderful milestone. Congratulations, Mary and Sue! 💙🐴

What a wonderful way to finish the term! 💙🐴
We were treated to a beautiful winter's day today after the big storm last week, so everyone enjoyed a lovely walk out with the horses.
A huge congratulations to Rylee D, who was awarded our Achiever of the Term! 🏆 Although Rylee isn't quite ready to ride yet, she has shown so much courage and commitment. She spends her sessions leading, grooming, and learning horsemanship with her gorgeous pony, Cookie. We are so proud of the confidence and skills she has been building. Well done, Rylee!

We also celebrated one of our incredible volunteers, John, who received his 10 Years of Service Award. 🎉 John is always the first one to arrive, setting out all the games equipment, leading horses, side-walking, helping riders mount and dismount, and lending a hand wherever it's needed. He never says no and always does it with a smile. We are incredibly grateful for everything he does for our riders, horses, and centre.
To top off the day, John even got to enjoy a little ride on his favourite horse, Ace! ❤️
