A gorgeous day just outside of Rotorua back in February with a lovely group of girls and family. Bridesmaids had freedom to choose their own styles and Helen opted for lose textured waves with a subtle tuck at the front.

Was such a privilege to be a part of Dani’s journey leading upto her wedding, with having her old blonde dreads removed and letting me give her a brand new brunette colour and extensions, as well as styling for her and her bridesmaids on the day 🤎

I had hoped to make this post a little sooner, but life has been such a whirlwind these past three weeks! I have officially relocated to Perth with my partner and we are moving into a new apartment tomorrow (very excited!) ☀️

When founding Croft Studio in March 2022, I had big dreams to have my own brand and my own salon. I put my heart and soul into my business and my clients, with many long days, late nights and weekends absorbed with doing what I love. I have been so committed to hairdressing and my clients in the past nine years of my career, and I’m so grateful for how it has shaped me as a person and for the people I have had the privilege to service and support through boyfriends, break ups, babies, engagements, marriage, grievances, and graduations.

But, there was always an underlying desire for something else which I never thought was possible for me since I felt so responsible for taking care of my clientele. When this opportunity arose for my partner and I, it took me a long time to detach from my career and my clients (a lot of tears and “no I can’t do it’s”) before finally sitting down and realising that I need to do this for me.

So for those who don’t know… this is the end of my hairdressing career, maybe forever, maybe just for now. My goals have shifted and my partner and I have a huge desire to do a lot of travel in the next few years while basing ourselves in Perth, which is something I couldn’t easily do with a business and a big clientele.

I’m so proud of how Croft Studio grew within only a year and will be forever grateful to every client, follower and encourager for your never-ending support. I have built amazing relationships with many of my clients and hope to keep in touch, so please don’t be a stranger and feel free to message me any time on this page or my personal (where I’ll be sharing the next adventures of my life!)

I still have a few wedding photos to upload from my last few weeks of work, but otherwise… this is goodbye for now from Croft Studio. Thank you again to everyone who played a part in my journey.
