We’ve got a rare spot opening up for an experienced tradesman to jump on board with The Reno Guys team.

We’re looking for someone with solid experience in renovations and new build homes — someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and wants to be part of a positive team.

If you’re looking for a change for 2026, thinking about moving to Hamilton or the Waikato, or you’re ready for more diverse and challenging work, this could be a great fit.

At The Reno Guys, no two jobs are the same. We work on everything from character homes and complex renovations through to high-spec new builds and bespoke architectural homes through our other arm, Fervour Construction.

You’ll be joining a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the Waikato since 2013, with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, great team morale, and a genuinely supportive culture.

We work hard Monday to Friday and spend weekends with our families. We also have a full-time project manager and office manager who support the team and help keep jobs running smoothly.

For the right person, a van and fuel card will be provided once the trial period is completed.
We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong renovation and/or new build experience
• Understands carpentry techniques and building methods
• Can read technical documents and drawings
• Follows H&S guidelines and procedures
• Has a full, clean NZ driver’s licence
• Has a full toolkit
• Is reliable, professional, and able to work unsupervised
• Communicates well with clients, team members, and subtrades
• Brings a good attitude and contributes to a positive team culture
• Has solid references

The Reno Guys were recently profiled for their work on complex renovations and restorations across the Waikato, including the restoration of Holy Name of Jesus, James Street, Raglan.

This project is a great example of what we do best — bringing ageing buildings back to life through careful planning, problem-solving, craftsmanship and respect for the original structure.

Renovating older buildings is rarely straightforward. Every project comes with its own history, challenges and surprises, which is why experience matters.
