Night falls as does the rain on the turf project but the progress continues.

There will be 260 metres of low perimeter fencing to stall the streakers from invading the pitch around 3 sides of the main field. As well as 20 metres of highball netting at each end to keep the balls from entering the neighbours.

These low fences will also hold prime advertising space for local businesses.

As the team charges on with awesome progress on the turf project there has also been an upgrade of the old power-hungry halogen floodlights to new energy-efficient LED on the Willoughby Park. Our sincere thanks goes out to the team at H3 and Pure Lighting for making this happen.

The new turf will also have four new lighting towers which will be starting the foundation works shortly, to allow the use to its full 45-hours per week - night games, mid week anyone?

**Turf Construction Update**

Check out the progress on site where our civil works lads have stripped and flattened to a blank canvas, and the all important drainage system is taking shape and today the first 1,200 tons of aggregate has gone in.
