From lifecasting to fingerprint pendants and DNA jewellery, I'm honored to have thousands of customers entrust their cherished memories to my craftsmanship. We also offer a bereavement service for recently deceased loved ones, as well as memorial and keepsake jewellery to keep them close to your heart.

Imposter syndrome is real. I have to remind myself everyday that people pay me to make art. How fu***ng cool is that?!

Good thing I’m the sentimental type and save little keepsakes along the way.
This one was done with a quick 2 second touch on the nose (she didn’t mind) to make a silicone mould. Then cast in wax, and foundry cast in sterling silver. Next time I’ll do rose gold.
Makes a beautiful pendant, though I think I’ll add her to my keychain so she can ride along with me.
I know it’s not for everyone right? Like who wants an arse hanging on the wall? Oh wait, I do, I have several actually! My babies little tushies are the cutest damn thing in my home. And I’ve had so many clients over the years who say the same.

Once upon a time I made my own plaster belly bowl, just days before my little girl was born. It became the sweetest prop for her newborn photoshoot the following week.
That’s all. That’s the post.
No profound revelation. Just a “hey look at this cool thing I made that I forgot I made” kinda thang.

This cremation ashes heart holds a very special story. It contains the last of my client’s grandparents’ ashes, after the rest were scattered on the family farm.
A small amount was saved to craft keepsake jewellery for family to hold them both close. What was left over was encapsulated in this resin heart, about the size of a river stone, to one day be taken to Egypt.
Grandma always wanted to see the pyramids, so the plan is to bury this stone in the sands of Egypt overlooking the Great Pyramids. And because their ashes are combined, Grandad is coming along for the ride whether he likes it or not.
I think that’s a pretty epic final adventure, and I loved helping their family realise her dream together.

This gorgeous mum and baby keepsake was created from a 3D body scan, hand cast in Classic Stone to 16cm high, and finished with a faux bronze patina.
A permanent newborn keepsake made to live in your home, capturing the bond between a new mum and her 2 week old little girl.

Right, I’m getting it over with, I’ve not posted in freaking forever and I feel guilty as all hell (like why though? Who’s sitting at home checking their watch for when I post next? Why do we care about this stuff so much as small business owners?)
The truth of it is because I’m a one woman band trying to do the job of a full string quartet here in the studio, admin to my eyeballs and stone dust in my bra, looking and feeling like hell, as you can see from this 4am DM to my girlfriends. I’ve been up since 2am doing admin stuff in my PJs, but really it’s just moving tasks around on my desktop, much like how I clean the studio by moving little piles from one workbench to the next then back again later when I realise I actually need my framing table today.
As a result of my moving s**t around in my calendar to squeeze in the ever expanding to-do list, I discovered it’s Hamilton Lifecasting Studios 18th birthday today!
Yey!
But also Booooo!
Cause that lead to instant anxiety and dread about how I should post about it, and then nervous gut sickening feeling that those that have messaged me for bookings or enquiries see I’ve posted when I’ve not had time to reply to them yet and get right pi**ed off with me and send more messages adding to the bottleneck (FYI- if you’re not an active paid order at the moment I’m sorry you’re 158th in the queue)
After I sent this video message to my mates I realised maybe raw unfiltered 4am flannel-jammie honestly is probably the best icebreaker to get me active on socials again.
We’re so conditioned to show the best of ourselves on social, but the reality is I’m now an old ADHD perimenopausal mum of 5 who just has to stop giving a toss about other people’s possible perceived ideas of me.

Holding a beautiful family in my heart tonight, as they spend their last moments with their newborn baby boy tonight.
Before I left, each of his siblings chose a different coloured teddy from my kit, and one for their baby brother to stay with him. A simple way to keep them all connected, wherever they are.
Rest in love beautiful boy.
