Many of you already know that Hamilton Lifecasting Studio is the home of our charity Angel Casts. For more than a decade we have provided free hand and feet casts to whaanau across the Waikato who lose their little one. It is the most meaningful work we will ever do.

This year our Remembrance Angels have returned as our annual fundraiser. Each one is created to reflect the size of a tiny life from twelve weeks of pregnancy through to newborn.

If you’ve experienced the loss of a little one and never had the opportunity to create a lasting memory, our Remembrance Angels can be a heartfelt representation of your angel this Christmas.
For those fortunate enough not to have gone through such a loss, this is your chance to extend your support to those families that we expect to see in the coming months.

Every dollar raised helps us continue offering this service at no cost to the families we meet. Your support means the world.

One of my favourite channel rings I have ever made. Turquoise and ocean crushed opal drifting together with soft rivers of genuine bronze powder, to imitate the colour of his eyes.

She’ll be popping up in Tauranga next weekend, 7 to 9 November, so head to her page to book your spot.

✨ Jen (that’s me) is the boss lady at covering the greater Waikato with lifecasts, keepsake jewellery and Figure pregnancy sculptures.
Figure pop-up studios are coming to Auckland and Christchurch, with just a few spaces left in November for Auckland and December for Christchurch.

✨ Ashleigh runs .creative.nz in Christchurch and hosts pop-up studios in Queenstown and throughout the South Island based on demand.

These girls have been incredible supports and sounding boards for this studio-cave-dweller.
Lifecasting can be quite a secretive industry, with many artists understandably protective of their hard-earned skills and experience.
We three are a little different. We believe in sharing ideas, lifting each other up (and having the odd vent), and celebrating healthy competition.

What I love most about them is that they have family and precious memories at their heart. 💛
Between us, we’ve created thousands of free casts for parents who have lost their baby or child across New Zealand, and we are all deeply experienced in bereavement casting for all ages.
There are few people in the world who understand what it’s like to walk beside hundreds of grieving families through memory making, and even fewer who I can speak honestly and openly with about those experiences.

I feel very privileged to also supply hand made custom frames to each of these businesses, so any framed casts you see on my socials or website- these two ladies can create the same for you in both Auckland and Christchurch!
