We've got your weekend movie viewing sorted with Beamafilm, our FREE online streaming service. We're celebrating World Post Day - and the end of the school holidays - with something for the younger viewers.
Postman Pat: The Movie, has our favourite postie happily going about his duty delivering letters and parcels around the fictional town of Greendale. One day, auditions for the TV talent show, “You’re the One”, are held in Greendale, which Pat manages to pass. With Pat required to be away from Greendale whilst participating in the contest, various Patbot 3000 robots are deployed to take Pat’s postal duties. This soon turns out to be an evil plot to take over the world, which Pat must now stop.
Featuring the voices of Stephen Mangan, Jim Broadbent, Rupert Grint, David Tennant and Ronan Keating, The Postman Pat movie runs for 1 hour 27 minutes and is rated G.
Watch it for free this weekend - all you need is your library card.

This photograph captures the first airmail plane to arrive in the Waikato. The pilot was "Mad Mac" McKinnon, a World War I fighter ace, seen here overseeing the transfer of mail from the aircraft.
Air mail was still a novelty when this photograph was taken.🛩️
