THE WALL & PARKING
The contractors are still on track, which is great. Again, thank you for your patience.

Traffic - Come in off Studholme 2nd entrance and exit out to Lorne Street past the Bowling Clubrooms.
Please DO NOT ENTER FROM LORNE STREET. This is EXIT only for the time being. Please travel around the Club SLOWLY. There will be space to drop patrons off by the front door and there may be limited parking available in the carpark, otherwise all persons should be looking to park on Lorne Street.
When you walk through to the Club past the bowling greens please be aware of the humps and uneven surface.
The courtesy van will be operating and will get you door to door so please consider using this. The van will be free for use during this time. Just ring the Club on the night to book. Phone (07) 889 7014

DO NOT park in the staff carparks. Disabled users should park at the end of the staff parks, but please make sure you do not block access to Lorne Street. Disabled users should display their disability carparking signs at all times.

No luck for J. Ferguson who missed out on $1,300. Thursday night we are at $1,400!!!

HARDLUCK DRAW:
Congratulations to T Brodie who took home the Hardluck Draw last week, just over $300. Thursday nights $1 a ticket. Winner takes the lot!!

JOKER DRAW:
No luck on Saturday night. The Joker is still hiding! Saturday nights, dependent on numbers. $1 a ticket. Turn over the Joker and you win $1,000!

95th ANNIVERSARY CLUB SHIRTS:
A design has been settled on and we are now taking orders for 95th Anniversary Club shirts.
If you are interested in purchasing, just check in at the bar and they will sort you out.

DONATIONS:
As has been mentioned a number of times, both within the Club and here in our newsletter, we are looking for donations to assist the Club with its upcoming financial cost of repairing the retaining wall.
Many discussions and negotiations have been had between your Executive Committee and MPDC, and, after at least 5 years, we have now reached agreement.
Council is funding 70% of the repair, while Morrinsville RSA is responsible for 30% of the cost, with a cash payment of $100,000 to be made by us on completion of the project.
Donations will assist with the cash payment while we are also looking at Grants from other sources to also assist.
A number of people have already kindly donated to the Club either by way of a cash payment over the bar or by bank payment. We are incredibly grateful to all who have supported us.
You can still make a payment, either at the Club or on-line. Bank details below.
All donations over $5 are eligible for a Tax refund so if you would like a receipt please get in touch.

Hi everyone
A quieter week last week but another busy week coming up for our staff with plenty of off-site functions.
Just a note that the Club will be CLOSED this Saturday 26th September with a private function taking place here.

THE WALL
Well the guys have made great inroads on the wall. While sad to see our beloved wall go, it did become necessary and we look forard to the finish product.
We are expecting this demolition and construction to take until December so there is going to be a long period of disruption.

The footpath outside the Club is closed and temporary traffic management is in place to help pedestrians move safely through the area. Drivers may experience temporary changes to road layout, signage or speed limits around the site.
There is now a one way system operating around the Club, starting from our Studholme Street second entrance (not the main entrance). Please travel around the Club SLOWLY and exit via the bowling greens onto Lorne Street. There will be space to drop patrons off
