Club membership is great value, and gives you access to a coaching programme and full fleet of single and double racing kayaks. We also have smaller training boats suitable for younger members (9 to 12 years). There is much more to your membership than simply coaching. Join in the club champs, meet other paddlers, team up for multisport events, and enjoy paddling with a bunch of friendly and enthusiastic people.

The Athlete Voice Committee was established in late 2023 as an additional mechanism for the views of high-performance sprint athletes to be heard, and appropriately considered, by Canoe Racing NZ. Currently made up of five past and present New Zealand canoe sprint athletes, the committee aims to ensure high performance sprint athletes are represented and consulted in CRNZ and High Performance Sport NZ planning and decision making.
We sat down with Lucy Matehaere, OIympian and a member of the Athlete Voice Committee (AVC) to discuss what the committee is all about and why she decided to get involved.
