Club membership is great value, and gives you access to a coaching programme and full fleet of single and double racing kayaks. We also have smaller training boats suitable for younger members (9 to 12 years). There is much more to your membership than simply coaching. Join in the club champs, meet other paddlers, team up for multisport events, and enjoy paddling with a bunch of friendly and enthusiastic people.

Calendar of Canoe Racing NZ major events for 2026/2027.

Some slight adjustments to our regular annual schedule due to changes in other watersport event dates. We are excited that the 2027 NZ Canoe Sprint Championships will double as the Oceania Championships and an ICF continental qualifier event on the road to LA 2028.

Just a reminder to our club members… please please remember “do not touch our private boats”. Also please please do not take footplates out of other kayaks. They are to stay in the kayak that they are equiped for. Only do changes with committee permission. Thank you.

We hope all our club members get to enjoy paddling over the winter. Remember to look after our club gear, respect private boats and ALWAYS remember to wear life jackets and tell someone where you are. Sunday Club Days will restart 4th Oct 2026 for the 26/27 season.
