So instead of doing what I should be working on today... I stumbled across Hale Centre Theater's trove of backstage videos about a rather cool theatre! Here's the first of a series that shows the quick changes for an ensemble man in "The Pirate Queen".

Reminds me a lot of when I was a dresser for Showbiz's season of "Les Miserables" - as well as the many, many shows where you don't even have a dresser...

I absolutely LOVE this! A return to older, but tried & tested means. And these dolls are gorgeous!

This is a great video of why NOT to buy anything online for dirt cheap when you know the original should be much more. It'll be horrible quality (probably from China or other third world countries, which is an ethical issue in itself), is normally a complete knockoff of a designer's REAL work and products, and frankly it'll just suck.

If you want something of this high quality, plan accordingly. Remember, high quality products will last much longer than any cheap quality knockoff!
