After six weeks of training, twice a week in the early mornings, our BCD Group crew took to the Waikato River for the 2026 Hamilton Rowing Club Corporate Regatta.
With perfect conditions and fantastic support from colleagues, the team delivered a great performance to finish third overall.
A big thank you to our rowers, supporters and photographers who helped make the day such a memorable one.
Over three nights in early August, our Geotechnical Team carried out site investigations, including borehole drilling supervision, CPT testing and pavement test pits, to support the design of a new interchange off State Highway 1.
This work is part of a broader design package including Planning, Civil and Traffic & Transport Engineering services, which BCD Group is undertaking to support growth and improve the safety of roading infrastructure in northern Hamilton. We were pleased to work alongside the team at Drillcore during the investigation programme.
Conditions were cold enough for frost to form on the clipboard, but the team never missed a beat.

Access for the whole community... We're proud to have contributed to the Fitzroy Beach Accessibility Project, helping create a safer, more accessible connection between Beach Street and Fitzroy Beach.
The new ramp and stairs improve access for families, people with mobility challenges, and anyone wanting to enjoy one of Taranaki's most popular coastal destinations.
BCD provided Planning, Surveying, Geotechnical, Civil, Structural, and Draughting engineering services for this project.

Progress is clearly visible on The University of Waikato’s new Health Precinct, home to the New Zealand Graduate School of Medicine at its Hamilton campus.
BCD Group has provided structural design services for the new four-storey building, working closely with the wider design team to deliver a coordinated solution that supports the project's functional and future requirements.
Once complete, the Health Precinct will accommodate the New Zealand Graduate School of Medicine, alongside the University’s current nursing, midwifery and pharmacy students, helping support the growth of New Zealand's future health workforce.

BCD Group provided geotechnical and structural engineering for the Tihi Tihi Pa Subdivision in Wairoa, a 38 lot subdivision delivering new social housing to the region.
Our team provided geotechnical assessments, engineered fill construction monitoring, and structural design across 30 dwellings.
