Hey Team!

It’s been a quiet off season for us but I thought I’d come on here and share our latest update.

This season we’ve decided to take a step back and go slowly with things. As a lot of you may know, speedway comes with many sacrifices. This definitely isn’t the end of it for us, it’s just another part of the journey 👊🏻

We will ofcourse make our way around the local tracks doing the odd meeting, just not racing full time this season! 🏁

First of all I’d like to thank Mama and Poppy for their financial, and timely sacrifices over the last 5 summers allowing us to race week in week out. I’ll never be able to show how much I truely appreciate it.

Secondly, Carlo. Without Carlo’s hand in the shed, we genuinely would have been pushing it to race each weekend. The amount of time he sacrificed away from his family means so much to our team. Thank you Carlo and Bena🤝🏼

🏆East Coast Superstock Champs
📍Meeanee Speedway

Saturday we made our way over to Meeanee Speedway for another championship, what was meant to be a 2 day meeting turned into 1 day. The weather wasn’t playing its part and that was clear why after heat 1.

We finished up 11th overall for East Coast Champs 🏁

Not the way we wanted to finish out the season, but the car was great to drive and we loaded up on the trailer with no damage👌🏻

🔥Heat 2: Grid 5-P10

Sat in 5th for majority of the race until I got put to the grass by another car, causing me a couple places to be lost

🔥Heat 1: Grid 13-P13

By far the most challenging track conditions I’ve had to endure, there is no grip at all on track.

We’re here at Meeanee Speedway for the East Coast Title! 🏆

The weather has made it tough for the track to come right, but the prep crew have done as much as they can to make it a racing surface.

We’ve pulled grids 13, 5 and 7.

🏆Autumn National Championship
📍Meeanee Speedway

Last weekend we made our way down to the Bay to compete in the annual Autumn Nationals🏁

We struggled to move forward in our 2 qualifying heats with 2 x 17th placings, leaving us to start on grid 18 for the winner takes all 20 lap feature.

After a decent start I sat in 14th for majority of the race, towards the end I noticed an out of town car leading so slowed down, but was left it a bit too late. Finishing up P15 in the title 🏆

🏆Feature: Grid 17-P15

Super tough track conditions made it hard for everyone, we slowed off towards the end to try get the Bay on the podium but 1 or 2 laps too late

We roll off grid 18 for the 20 lap feature 🏆

Once again caught in a big turn 1 pile up with about 8 other cars

Unfortunately we fell victim to the mighty turn 3 push after a good start, we go again off grid 17 for heat 2
