I had a great time hitting up again and running a mobility workshop!
We warmed up, performed some dynamic stretching, worked our end range with mobility exercises, then stretched it all out at the end!

While Iโ€™m in New Zealand I am absolutely making an effort to meet and encourage girls starting in tricking!

How strong are your adductors?

I'm so excited to be taking on one-on-one SAS and personal training clients here in LA!
But prior to working with a client I usually have to answer the same question a multitude of times...
'it's just stretching, right?'

I always get the question! Coupled with a lot of confusion - I mean, why do you need a personal trainer for stretching?

Simple.

It's not just stretching!

My approach to stretching isn't just hold a position until it hurts a bit less, it's targeted, focused, and paired with mobility and strength work. We are not just seeking to be passively flexible but we are seeking to develop and extend YOUR end range of movement.

A large part of what we do in our daily lives is in front of us - typing on the computer, lifting boxes, cooking, cleaning. The thing with these tasks is that it causes the muscles on our front - like our chest and front deltoids - to become shortened which in turn limits chest and shoulder flexibility and mobility.

So here is one stretch to help counteract the daily postures that cause tightness through the chest!
