I want to take a moment to recognise the incredible women I get to work alongside every day.

Before most of us even arrive at work, we've already packed lunches, done school runs, sorted out the household and made sure everyone at home has what they need. We're mothers, wives, daughters, sisters and friends, and somehow we still show up and give 100% to this business, day after day.

I see it. The late-night emails sent after the kids are finally asleep. The calls taken while juggling a hundred other things. The way you support each other without being asked. None of it goes unnoticed.

This business is what it is because of you: your strength, your heart and your ability to carry so much while still lifting others up.

Over the years, I've seen international recruitment done both well and badly, and the difference always comes down to the same thing: process.

Bringing talent in from overseas isn't just about filling a vacancy. It's about getting the compliance right, genuinely matching the right person to the right role, and having real local support in their home country to back that up. Skip any of these steps, and you're not solving a skills shortage. You're creating a bigger problem down the line.
