How many nm do I need to cure through the pigments? I don’t know 🤷♀️- and that’s the problem 🥲
If I’m taking someone’s money, I’m doing it with my full chest. I can’t confidently guarantee anything if I don’t understand the products myself (and if I can’t do that - I ain’t taking their money).
It has nothing to do with where it’s made, and everything to do with HOW it’s made. Beneath all the sparkles are some pretty harsh chemicals, and as professionals we need to be using the safest combinations (in the purest forms) of those chemicals.
A brand that doesn’t share that transparency is not a brand for me or my clients (we need receipts ) 🤷♀️🤏
What are your thoughts on this gel polish? 💅
This is a brand that’s gotten a lot of nail techs in a dilemma:
“It’s actually so pigmented”
“It’s a better quality than some of the expensive brands I’ve tried”
“I just don’t know if it’s worth the risk”
These are all things nail techs have said to me about it, and I couldn’t honestly agree or disagree without trying it for myself 🤷♀️

Okay fine! We’ll compromise and have a mix of both garage door photos, and salon table photos 😆🫶
The garage door won the poll by 54% BUT 18 people still preferred the nail table for nail photos - so I think we should do a mix of both (for now) 📸
