We were very pleased to welcome RNZ to the QOROX printing facility here in Hamilton for an in-depth look at the 3D printing process. As New Zealand’s first operational concrete 3D printer, this is an awesome chance for the general public to hear about the benefits 3D printing offers to the Kiwi construction sector.
Tune into Morning Report tomorrow for the full interview!

Standing in front of a 3D printed house in Brymer Heights built by Iconic3D. It's a three bedroom house that took just 27 hours to print all 36 wall panels. It's also very slow to lose heat and the thick walls provide awesome noise reduction - the advantage is speed to build over traditional models.
Thanks to the team for showing Tama Potaka and I. Pretty impressive technology and I'm excited to see where it goes in the future.

Tonight we are joining with the best the construction industry has to offer to celebrate the annual Construction Sector Accord's Beacon Awards in Wellington.
The Beacon Awards shine a light on good practice in the sector and on those providing a great example for others to learn from.
We are honoured to be finalists for the Supreme Award Category for our innovative 3D Printing Technology. We could not have done this without the support from Callaghan Innovation and Auckland Council.
