Ngā mihi nui to Waikato-Tainui for inviting LPR Collective to be part of this special day with Māori business owners who whakapapa to Waikato-Tainui.
It was held at ANZ in Hamilton and it was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share kōrero, and meet people from all over the rohe.
Days like this matter. They remind us how much talent, knowledge, and drive exists within our own people, and how powerful it is when we come together to support Māori business and future opportunities.
Thank you to Waikato-Tainui, ANZ, and everyone who made the day possible.
LPR Collective is proud to be part of this kaupapa.

What a day celebrating Waitangi Day in Brisbane.
The place was full of energy. Kapa haka, music, kai, and heaps of Māori coming together to celebrate who we are and where we come from. It was awesome seeing so many whānau living in Australia still holding strong to their culture and identity.
We met some great people, had some powerful kōrero, and shared the idea behind the Pepeha App with the community. The feedback was amazing and it was great hearing how something like this could help Māori living overseas stay connected to their pepeha and whakapapa.
One really interesting discussion was about acknowledging the traditional custodians of the land in Australia when speaking. That whakaaro alone made the trip worthwhile and will help shape how the app grows in the future.
Big thanks to everyone who stopped for a chat and shared their whakaaro. Days like this remind you how strong our people are everywhere in the world.
Brisbane brought the mana for Waitangi Day.

Kia ora whānau,
Big news for us at LPR Collective.
THIS SATURDAY! We’ve been chosen as a finalist to pitch in the Taniwha Den at Kohinga Koha 2025, a kaupapa led by Waikato-Tainui under the mantle of Te Arikinui and the Kiingitanga.
It’s a huge honour to stand in a space shaped by our iwi, our leaders, and the vision for Māori economic strength.
This Saturday at Waikato University, we’ll be presenting Te Ao Whare — our VR marae training project that helps our people learn and practise tikanga, kawa, and marae roles in a safe digital space.
To be selected out of so many Māori businesses across the motu is something we don’t take lightly.
We’re grateful, and we’re ready to represent.
We’ll share an update after the pitch.
