QUITTING my 9-5 to pursue my purpose! πŸ”₯

Health and wellness has always been a priority for me. I've made the decision to step away from my full time role at Sport Waikato and redirect all my time and energy into the incredible journey of Core Wellness!! 🌼🫢🏼

This decision wasn't easy, but I believe a risk worth taking! Life is too short to wait around for things to happen.

I am beyond grateful for the support I've received so far. Join me in this journey as we are just getting started πŸ§‘πŸ“ˆπŸ’«πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

We always finish our sessions with stretching and mobility! 🀍 We want to protect our bodies in the long term. There are two main types of stretches. Dynamic and Static. I love educating my clients on this so thought I’d share with you all! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Dynamic πŸŒͺ
Movement-based stretching. Involves the muscle and joint to move through their full range of motion. Dynamic stretching increases heart rate, blood flow, surrounding tissue activation and encourages synovial fluid to create great mobility and β€˜oil’ up the joints

Static πŸ”₯
Holding a stretch in a position with no movement. Should only ever be completed AFTER a workout. Helps muscles with pain and stiffness. Ideally static stretches are held for 20-30 seconds! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
