The GROOVE Party @ The Ranga is coming back due to popular demand.

The first GROOVE Party @ The Ranga was 2025 and we packed the place out to maximum capacity, stopped ticket sales 4 hours before it started and had to turn door sales away. It was that good. The crowd was awesome.

We'll be back on Saturday 31 October 2026, so save the date, clear your schedule and book your tickets.

Early bird tickets $25 each ticket (cash sales only from The Ranga). Limited time only.

Online tickets $33.

Door sales $40.

If you haven't been to a GROOVE Party yet, ask someone who has. It's such a good night out. No one ever regrets it.

Our SPCA Mobile Desexing Clinic is heading to the East Cape! 💙

Over the coming weeks, we'll be offering free desexing and microchipping for cats and dogs for struggling pet owners in Te Karaka, Tolaga Bay, and Ruatoria. We know that times are tough right now, and we'd like to do what we can to help 🙏

SPCA has been working hard over the years to address the overpopulation of companion animals - many are born unwanted, and we know that desexing is one of the best things we can do to improve animal welfare, reduce the numbers of strays, and prevent suffering.

Our schedule is as follows:
📅 Te Karaka - Monday 12 October – Friday 16 October
📅 Tolaga Bay – Monday 19 October – Friday 23 October
📅 Ruatoria – Tuesday 27 October – Friday 30 October

Though our desexing services will be free, we would greatly appreciate a koha so that we can continue offering more of these initiatives in the future.

The Rockstar of NZ Comedy GISH is back on the mish! He's coming out of his THC-fuel hibernation and hitting the road with a new show featuring classic hits and plenty more songs that he's going to ruin for you. Get ready for a night where no song is safe.

Hosted by Anthony Wilson, a crowd favorite who’s performed across Aotearoa, Australia, and the UK. With quick wit, polished storytelling, and pub-worthy tales, he’ll keep the show rolling.

This show is strictly R18. It kicks off at 5:00pm but we recommend getting there early so you can get comfy, grab some Gish munchies from the menu and a few drinks before the chaos ensues. Tickets will go fast. Grab yours now and spread the word!
