💚 Saturday 5th June (Morning session- NYPA & Troupes) followed by Modern & Hip Hop

💚 Sunday 6th June – Ballet (plus Modern & Hip Hop if required)

💚 Monday 7th June – Ballet & Tap

We are incredibly excited to announce the next chapter for Central Fusion Dance Competition!

CFDC will now operate under the Central Fusion Performing Arts Charitable Trust, allowing us to continue growing and supporting dancers, performance opportunities, and the performing arts throughout our community. While our structure is evolving, one thing remains the same — our competition will continue to be known as Central Fusion Dance Competition (CFDC).

This is an exciting step forward and one that will help ensure CFDC continues to thrive for many years to come.

We are also delighted to introduce our committee. Joining original members Cat and Deonne are new committee members Carlene and Claire. Together, we are looking forward to building on the strong foundations of CFDC and creating even more opportunities for dancers and performers.

Thank you to everyone who has supported CFDC along the way. We can't wait to share this journey with you all!

✨ Congratulations Mercedes Brooks! ✨

The Central Fusion Dance Competition Committee is delighted to announce that Mercedes Brooks has been selected to receive a Manawatu Dance Society Half-Scholarship to the 2027 Dance Workshops.

Mercedes was chosen not only for her dancing ability, but for the qualities she consistently displays both on and off the stage. Her dedication to her dancing, positive attitude, respect towards fellow competitors and committee members, and the joy she brings every time she performs made her a standout recipient for this opportunity.

We are incredibly proud of Mercedes and look forward to seeing all that she achieves in the future.
