So how about these wheels….cool back story. But first…..what brand are they?
As the story goes….there were 2 sets of these purchased for a Group C RX3. The car was run at Bathurst and then sold on, but they kept the spare set of wheels for “just in case”. They were in storage for 40 years until the son advertised them. Very rare, the lips are spun steel, not aluminum. Our man Lance, Mr Arrow Wheels told me he hadn’t seen anything like them and spun steel was pure craftsmanship.
So when I heard the story I had to get them.
13x8” fronts and 13x9” rears. They’re now my wets/road wheels.

It’s with pleasure to share that Mason Rotor Motorsport has purchased #43. A long time rotor guy, it is like passing it on to the next generation or rotorholic. Wonderful close family and have no doubt it will be well looked after and raced. The relationship with Alec Bell Kiwi-RE will ensure the preformqnce and reliability remains a hallmark of this car.

It’s with mixed emotions that today we sent #43 RX7 to its new home.
The car is going to stay in NZ, and raced by another rotary race team. They are good people and we wish them all the very best and hope they get as much pleasure and success as we have.
#43 Racing is looking forward to seeing the RX7 back on track and understands potentially at some historic events in the coming season.
Our new project is underway and we look forward to sharing some exciting updates over coming weeks.
