What to expect from the Ink Pot ❤️

We have big dreams for our little space, and we'd love to take a moment to share them with you.

Above all us, we're an independent bookshop, dedicated to bringing you love stories from across the diverse world that is Romance. Whatever your vibe is, we're aiming on having a selection of books to match. We also stock a selection of candles, bookmarks, cards, pins, and other fun bookish merch. The items that have come in so far are beautiful, and we're so excited to see them on the shelves.

While we're a bookshop, we'd also like to be more than that. We envision The Ink Pot as a community space as well, somewhere both readers and writers can spend time in and enjoy, beyond just perusing the shelves.

On the reader side, we'd love to get a book club or two up and running. If you'd like to join/be kept in the loop for our Contemporary Romance or Romantasy clubs, DM me ❤️

We'll host monthly meetups for these at the shop after hours, and members will get discounted rates on any of the featured books. It's free to join either or both, and you can participate as much or as little as you like. Craft nights are also on the agenda (DIY mini bookshelves, anyone?) and meet-the-author events where we can swing it.

For writers, there is a dedicated space in-store for you to work on your manuscripts during opening hours. Eventually, we'd like to host networking events and writing workshops with experts in the field. The Ink Pot's owner, Colette, has been a full-time romance writer for six years and published 30 books—we know how amazing and isolating writing can be, and we'd love for our little shop to be a welcoming space for both new and established writers to work ❤️
