You don’t have to be a first aider to start CPR.

If someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call emergency services and start CPR.

Push hard and fast in the centre of the chest.

If you’re trained and willing to give breaths, use 30 compressions followed by 2 breaths. If not, keep doing chest compressions.

If an AED is available, get it and follow its instructions.

You could make a difference while help is on the way.

Someone collapses in front of you.

What do you do first?

Check for danger.
Check if they respond.
Check their breathing.

If they’re not breathing normally, call emergency services and start CPR.

You don’t need to be a doctor to help. Knowing the basics can make a real difference while you wait for emergency services.

Even after 9 years in the market, getting messages like this makes it all worth while 🫶

“Hi there! I work in early childhood special education in Oregon, USA. I’m looking to buy a first aid privacy pod exactly like yours to give our students with seizures privacy during times when they need medical attention. Thank you so much for making this”

Did you know this? 🤔

In 2024, more than 2,500 New Zealanders experienced a cardiac arrest outside of hospital and 72% of those happened at home.

Most emergencies don’t happen in public places… they happen where we live and love. Knowing basic first aid could make all the difference. ❤️‍🩹

Recognising Signs of Shock

After a major injury, even if someone looks okay, they could be in shock.
Look for:
• Pale, cold, clammy skin
• Rapid breathing or pulse
• Confusion or weakness

Lay them down, elevate legs (if safe), and keep them warm while waiting for help.
