Elite Decorating

🔎 ARE YOU A BIT FUSSY?

GOOD. WE'RE LOOKING FOR EXACTLY THAT.

We're looking for a Touch-Up & Finishing Specialist to join the Elite Decorating team.

This isn't your typical painting role.

We're looking for someone with a seriously good eye for detail - someone who notices the little things other people don't.

The tiny mark.
The missed edge.
The imperfect cut-in.
The little roller line.
The area that just doesn't look quite right.

Because when we're finishing a job, those little things matter.

🎨 YOUR ROLE
You'll be the person we trust to visit our completed projects and make sure they're genuinely finished to the high standard our clients expect from Elite Decorating.

You'll be moving between our finished jobs, carrying out touch-ups, checking completed work and picking up those little imperfections before the job is signed off.

You'll also be working closely with our painters and supervisors to help maintain the standard we're proud of.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
✔️ Has painting/decorating experience
✔️ Has an exceptional eye for detail
✔️ Takes real pride in their work
✔️ Is particular about producing a quality finish
✔️ Can spot things others might overlook
✔️ Has good colour awareness and touch-up skills
✔️ Can work independently and manage their own day
✔️ Is reliable, honest and takes responsibility for their work
✔️ Has great communication and people skills
✔️ Holds a clean NZ driver's licence

You don't have to be the fastest painter in the room.

We want the person who looks at a finished wall and thinks:

"Hang on… that doesn't look quite right."

…and then fixes it. 👌

WHAT WE OFFER
💰 $25–$30 per hour depending on experience
🚐 Company vehicle
👕 Uniforms, tools & work boots provided
📚 Training & development
🏠 Variety of residential / commercial painting projects
🤝 A good team and a boss who genuinely looks after his people
📈 A growing Franklin-based painting company with plenty of work ahead

Elite Decorating - Your local painting team!

You’ve got to love winter in New Zealand… 🌦️😅

One minute it's raining, the next the sun's out... then it's raining again! The weather has definitely been keeping us on our toes lately.

Despite the unpredictable conditions, we're stoked with the progress on one of our latest new builds in Patumahoe for our valued client DW Homes.

The cladding has been painted in Dulux Flaxpod, and it's looking sharp! 👌 The rich, dark finish really complements the home's modern design and is starting to bring the whole project to life.

When the weather's played nice, we've been making great progress outside. When it hasn't, we've simply shifted indoors and kept the project moving. 💪

We can't wait to show you the finished result!

Freshen up in progress out in Waiuku 🎨✨

Our team kicked things off with a full exterior washdown and prep — removing dirt, mould, and anything that could mess with a quality finish. Now it’s all about bringing it back to life with a premium Dulux 3-coat system 💪

Weatherboards, soffits, barge boards… all getting the full treatment 🙌

Big shoutout to Jay 👏 one of our newer crew members (with us since June last year) and absolutely smashing it on site. First time featuring on our socials — won’t be the last!

Stay tuned for the finished result 👀🔥
