Another solid practice day in VMR - great chase, catch and pass games with N 46 from Whangarei. My Red Lightening Kosmic Kart is pure speed! Adding 3 kg of led to be weight compliant gave me more speed! Thanks Right Karts for the fast kart!

My Karting Mom (she borrowed the Legend Coach’s DD2 Mercury T supplied by Right Karts) did 5 practice runs today for the 1st time on the track! Elite endurance!!! I had another solid practice day in Silver Lightning VMR - it was a lot of fun!

It was an awesome Club Day in Hamilton! 66 is my new lucky 🍀 number! Love my Kosmic Kart with Red Lighting ⚡️decal! Heat 1 and Heat 2 - the fastest lap time, Heat 3 - finished in the 1st place, Final - the fastest lap time, and settled for the 2nd place overall! It was great racing!

Auckland Club Day delivered pure chaos. The kind you only see once a season. A three‑kart tangle exploded into a barrel roll that sent one kart flipping skyward. The driver ended up in the ambulance for assessment — thankfully OK, but out of the final.

My kart didn’t escape the carnage either. It was hammered from every direction like it had a target painted on it. By the time we limped back to the pits, the only smart call was to withdraw. The kart had taken enough punishment for one day.

It’s time for a reset — a clean slate.
A new race number.
A Silver Lightning decal kit that looks fast even standing still.
And a fresh start with VMR practice.

Top speed: 94 km/h.
Bottom speed: 50 km/h.
For a first session — that’s seriously strong.

What a ride the last two weeks have been. Nationals nearly ended before they began when my new kart was written off after a hit to the rear wheel at the Club Day. It was heartbreaking.

But Right Karts stepped in and got me back in the seat with a brand‑new Kosmic just in time!

From there, the comeback began:
Qualified 7th.
Heat 1 chaos took me out as collateral.
Heat 2—fought through to 2nd.
Heat 3—took the win.

Couldn’t have done it without the team at Right Karts. What a turnaround.
