This is the hour Te Tonga o te Rā was made for. Warm skin, low light, a bitter-orange brightness melting into something creamy and close.

This is Te Tonga o te Rā. Bitter orange fading into something creamy and low, the last of the sun held close.

Late light, low and gold. There's a bittersweet lift at first, bright but tinged, the way afternoon carries the first hint that it's ending, and then it softens. The sharpness melts.
What's left is warm and slow: a creamy, dusky sweetness, like the last of the sun held on your skin.
Te Tonga o te Rā... the long descent, when the day turns tender before it goes.
