When you come to Matakana to check out the vineyards this summer, pick up this handy dandy guide and admire the work that went into creating it. Thanks to the lovely Ann Williamson who coordinated the project with patience and humour.

Big thanks to Kathy Hunter for the attached graphic. Jolly funny for those of us in the graphic design industry, but possibly a bit incomprehensible to lay folk. Following is the short blurb I send to my clients when I provide them with our standard digital logo set (pdf, eps, jpeg, png) for any new branding we do. Hope it makes sense.

"Pdf and eps files are ideal for printing, advertising, signmaking and graphic designers.
Jpeg and png files are ideal for web uses, e.g. Facebook, Instagram, etc., digital stationery, accounting programmes, and so on."

Just finished up on the promo poster for her Neon Night Walk / Run 4 Good in Wellington, coming to you 5 October this year. It looks like such a cool night-time adventure and supporting excellent causes. Get out there for this one all you Welly folks.

Latest in our series of ads for Rodney Surgical. Real people with real medical procedures they had done at our local day stay hospital. It's a real asset to our community so ask your GP if you can have your surgery done locally.

Thanks Junction for doing a story about us. Funny to see it written on paper that we have been in business for 28 years!!! Where does the time go? So all you peeps in the Junction area (Puhoi to Mangawhai and beyond), drop us a line to discuss making your next communications project superb.

We hear a lot about roads, roads, roads in our communities. It's nice to be involved in a project looking at ways to improve the connectivity and safety of walking around Warkworth's main centre. Just remember everyone, drive slowly and carefully when you are in town, and keep an eye open for pedestrians. They are small and soft compared to cars.

In these days of social media, websites and so on, it is kind of refreshing to have a client – BangOn Bobcats – that was having a slow start to the year, commission us to put together an ad for our local paper (Mahurangi Matters). From running the ad twice over two months, BangOn got around $15k of new work and got the year back on track. And we got a nice thank you note. Yay.
