For the past year, we’ve been serving Thea at Kōkako Commercial Bay as part of our Coconut Matcha Latte on Tap, and it’s become a product we’ve loved working with. Now, we’re excited to share it more widely!

Founded by cousins and first-generation Kiwis, Thea sources thoughtfully selected matcha direct from Japan, with a focus on quality, provenance and sustainability.

Located at 100 Parnell Road, Winona Forever is known for creative dishes, an impressive cabinet of sweet and savoury treats, as well as a warm, inviting café space where everyone is welcome.

Haere mai Rude Boy Deli & Eatery, the newest member of the Kōkako outpost whānau.

Located at 34 Sale Street in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau, Rude Boy is known for its vibrant space, huge cabinet of baked treats, and a menu that ranges from classic breakfast plates to more playful dishes like kimchi omelettes as well as favourites such as fried chicken and fresh salads.

Now pouring Kōkako certified Fairtrade Organic coffee, it’s a great spot to start the day, meet friends for brunch, or stop in for a coffee and something sweet from the cabinet.

Today, on International Women's Day in the International Year of the Woman Farmer, we’re celebrating the women who help grow the coffee we roast.

Across the world, women play a major role in agriculture, yet many face barriers such as limited access to land, training, and fair pay.

Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand works with farming organisations to change this by supporting women’s participation, leadership, and economic independence.

Through Fairtrade, women farmers gain better access to training, resources, and decision-making within their cooperatives. The result is stronger farms, stronger families, and stronger communities.
