Our Genie Z34 boom lift was starting to look a little tired after years of hard work, earning herself the nickname "Ugly Betty" around the yard.

We brought her in, gave her some much-needed TLC and a fresh coat of paint, and now she's back on site looking sharp and getting stuck in on site.

It's amazing what a bit of attention can do! ✨

This one was an odd shaped house, actually an old dental clinic, bit of a renovation project. No dramas for the crew, just figured it out with a few changes along the way from the clients, never an issue, the guys take it in their stride and do what's needed.

Behind the scenes, all of our jobs start as a concept drawn in house. Look closely you will even see the Instant Access kickboards 👍 This helps us visualize with the team, client and engineers when required.

Another tidy residential project underway in Auckland.

We pride ourselves on safe, practical scaffold setups that keep builds moving efficiently.

Thanks to the crew for another solid install.

Another massive effort from the team recently delivering a complex shrink-wrap project under serious time pressure. Proud of how everyone stepped up to get this one erected and wrapped safely.

For this project, we completed the initial design and then brought engineers in to review the build thoroughly before wrap installation. As the scaffold was erected for a PS4, there were multiple site visits and plenty of valuable learnings along the way.

One thing worth highlighting — there’s often confusion around producer statements. Some clients request a PS1 purely as a box-ticking exercise, but that alone isn’t engineering sign-off that a scaffold is compliant or ready to carry additional loads like shrink-wrap.

The reality is that small deviations from design can happen on site:
"We’ve always done it this way"
"Why can’t we just do it like this?"

That mindset is where risk creeps in.

Experience is valuable — but so is discipline. Following engineered designs, asking questions, and getting proper sign-off matters because everything can seem fine… until it isn’t.

When shrink-wrap is involved, wind loading and additional forces can turn small mistakes into major failures.

Great result by the crew, and a good reminder that doing things properly matters.
