A look back at a weekend with the 19c

She was a busy one but a fun one a deal was made on Thursday at 5:30 after work I hopped on a plane at 7 o’clock that night at 7 am Friday morning we had a bare frame we built a race car went to the track got taken out by competitor rebuilt her again got back out for the feature reassessed the next morning went through everything as we rolled back out for the Saturday night of the gold cup and went out for our first heat lining up next to Connor Rangi on the front row won that heat
with the words coming out of my mouth at the interview after the heat race if you can’t atleast win a heat race in duff car there’s something wrong parting with the joke of fear of getting fired up return to the pits
Ran another heat made 4 more spots

Started on the back for the feature finished up 8th no big carnage

All n all a lot of fun working with the duffs and having Jamie as my crew chief for both of us as drivers I know we both found it beneficial and reassuring that notes wise we’re on the right track …..

That was a fun weekend that I’ll personally remember for forever and furthermore it illustrated to me what sports all about because sometimes we can get lost in the sauce of it all and really all we are is racers and enthusiasts

with damage that took us out’ve both heats

Ran the feature got some good notes went through and repaired the chariot today

Thanks to team Duff - for a tough time we’ve had a lot of fun

Tonight’s the night that Pays…..

A plan was made literally 24hrs ago and here we are the 19c was a bare frame at 7am this morning

Looking forward to running the iconic Duff Motorsports 19c with Jamie as the crew chief
