From city apartment resident to letting agent in 2016, Klim’s journey has given him first-hand insight into what renters and property owners really need.

As of the 1st of this month, new regulations have come into effect around pets in rental properties!
Tenants now have the right to request keeping a pet, and landlords must consider those requests fairly, with blanket “no pets” clauses no longer applying.
At the same time, landlords can still protect their investment, including giving a good reason for declining a tenant’s request to keep a pet, requiring a pet bond and setting reasonable conditions.
The aim is to make pet ownership more accessible for tenants, while keeping rental homes well looked after.
