Reid Racing

Every Downbytheseaside we have had through the stable has been a winner.

Steven Reid has now trained 1125 winners, including 14 G1 wins and 62 Group and Major wins, and we are excited about the future of our latest youngster.

We currently have just 10% remaining in our Downbytheseaside x Ruby Rose yearling c**t, with shares available from 2.5%.

If you would like to be part of the journey, feel free to send us a message for more details.

We are pleased to finish the NZB Standardbred Sales with 4 quality purchases returning home with us!

We are grateful to our incredible owners for their support and have a limited number of shares left in the below c**t by the stallion we love in Downbytheseaside.

🐴 Lot 19 - Downbytheseaside / Ruby Rose C**t
An impressive son of Downbytheseaside, this guy took our eye from the intial media we saw and after the prior success Steven has had with the family we knew we had to bring him home for a steal at 40k.

Our boy Jumal took home the 2yo Pacing C**t or Gelding of the Year at the Annual awards last night kindly sponsored by Tyre General!

A big congrats to Malcolm who races this fella alongside Bella and Steven!

We look forward to seeing him back on the racetrack later this month 🥳

Jumal claims Group 1 success in just his third start! 🥇

A truly emotional win as he delivers part owner Malcolm Wrigley his first Group 1 victory – made even more special as Jumal carries the name of Malcolm and his late wife Judith. This win is a beautiful tribute to Judith’s wish for Malcolm to one day have a good horse.

Huge credit to our amazing team who work so hard behind the scenes, and to Sam Ottley, whose bond with Jumal shone through in yet another top-class drive.

That’s Group 1 win number 14 for Steven – and one to remember. 💥

"He's just a wee cracker" - Sam Ottley

The Diamond Creek Farm 2YO Classic turned into a battle early as Jumal and Freeze Frame went to war from their wide draws.

Race favourite JUMAL showed his class though, coming out on top for trainer Steven Reid Racing and driver Sam Ottley.

Congratulations to owners Malcolm Wrigley and Bella Storer.
