Livewire Audio Visual

We're excited to announce that, effective 15 June 2026, Vidcom's Audio Visual division has joined the Livewire Audio Visual family.

For our customers, it's very much business as usual. Your existing contacts, quotes, projects, and upcoming events remain unchanged, and you'll continue working with the same trusted team you've always known.

By bringing our businesses together, we're combining the experience, knowledge, and resources of both teams to deliver even greater capability and support across New Zealand.

We'd like to thank our customers, partners, and staff for their continued support as we begin this exciting new chapter as LivewireAV // Vidcom.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your usual Vidcom representative.

Over the past few weeks, we've shared a lot about the events we've delivered, the technology we've deployed, and the equipment that helps bring incredible experiences to life.

But while the gear matters, and the events matter, neither would be possible without the people behind it all.

At LivewireAV, our team is the reason clients trust us with their events, productions, and projects. It's their expertise, commitment, problem-solving, and willingness to go the extra mile that turn great technology into great outcomes.

This photo is from one of our team days out last year—a reminder that behind every successful event is a group of passionate people who genuinely enjoy working together and supporting one another.

As we continue to grow and take on bigger and more exciting opportunities, we're looking forward to welcoming some new faces to the LivewireAV family in the very near future.

A look into Brad's Warehouse for an awards evening. Working in a heritage space has its challenges but the results are always impressive. Such a great venue partner to be onboard with.

Time to clear some shelves. We’ve listed a selection of ex-hire equipment on Number8 Bid, with the auction live now and some great buying to be had.

The new LED screen has been putting in the work these past few weeks! From large-scale setups to intimate events, it’s been a standout feature that brings every event to life.

LivewireAV is proud to have achieved a 91% score in our latest IMPAC Prequal Health & Safety assessment.

Delivering live events requires strong planning, safe work practices, and a team committed to doing things properly under pressure. This result recognises the systems and processes we’ve put in place to support safe, professional event delivery for our clients and crew.

Thank you to everyone involved in helping us maintain a strong safety culture across all of our productions and events.

And there it is... Our brand new LED Screen. We have landed 120 Square Meters of Absen PL V2+ with a 2.9mm Pixel Pitch. What you see in the post here is just half of it (60 Square Meters) setup in an impressive 15M x 4M wall inside our workshop with an effective resolution of 5040 x 1344 pixels.

Small bespoke awards evenings are always enjoyable to work on and get creative with.

Early morning start for the team today with an outdoor livestream.

Amongst the tools was our Blackmagic Design URSA G2 Broadcast camera fitted with a DJI Transmission wireless kit on the V-Lock mount. The range and versatility this offers us with positioning cameras is incredible.

This is one of the most reliable and long reaching wireless camera systems we have ever worked with, happily covering entire stadiums with no drop outs.
