As 2024 comes close to an end, we would like to take the opportunity to reflect on this year. Thank you to our staff, clients and wider colleagues in the law and IP fields. It has been a pleasure to work alongside you and we look forward to another successful year in 2025.
Christmas and Summer Closures
Our Auckland and Wellington Offices will close for Christmas/Summer holidays from 5pm Friday 20 December 2024. We will have skeleton crew between 20-24 December 2024 and from Thursday, 2 January 2025 for urgent IP filings or matters. Our offices will reopen fully on Monday, 13 January 2025
The Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand will be closed from Wednesday 25 December 2024 and reopen on Friday, 3 January 2025 and IP Australia will be closed from Wednesday, 25 December 2024 and reopen on Thursday 02 January 2025.
Applications and documents submitted between these dates will have the next working day as their filing date. If the deadline for filing an application or document falls on these dates, then the deadline will shift to the next working day.
