Happy first day of spring! We are feeling excited that summer is finally on it's way. SUMMER INSPO - Here is a collection of art pieces showing in London at the moment. What inspires you?

Installations include Camille Walala's interactive and immersive maze Play, Hella Jongerius's Breathing Colour exhibition which takes a deeper look at the way colour behaves, and Outi Pieski's Falling Shawls floating textile sculpture, described as a 'drawing in air’. Other exhibits include Hokusai: Beyond the Great Wave at The British Museum and Jennifer Tee Let It Come Down at Camden Arts Centre.

Vintage Inspiration - looking to the past to inspire the future. Here at CWT we have been going through the archives and re-imagining prints from vintage silk scarves. Marc Jacobs has done the same as seen below.

PRE-SUMMER 2018 TREND ALERT! - MULTI COLOURED STRIPES.

Here at CWT the design team is working hard getting our summer range ready for launch in September. Big, bold and bright, this season’s stand-out stripe is vibrant in rainbow hues, what do you think? Could you pull this look off? Either vertical or horizontal, these chunky stripes inject head-to-toe looks with clashing colours, reinforcing the ongoing maximalist theme seen across womenswear.

TREND ALERT: Continuing from the Pre-Fall 17 collections, an individual expression drives the decorative womenswear fabrics, creating eclectic looks in outerwear, dresses and separates.
