DHC - Structural - Civil

St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic College Stage 2 is complete, and opened just in time for the 2026 school year!

DHC provided the structural and civil engineering for this new three-storey school building in Drury, Auckland, delivered through a design and build partnership with Savory Construction. The project includes 14 new classrooms, a dance studio, drama theatre, breakout spaces, office areas and a link bridge connecting to the existing building.

Out of office for 2025! Merry Christmas from the DHC team!

This lot scrubbed up well to receive an award at the 2025 SCNZ Excellence in Steel Awards. DHC was part of the Lot 43 Te Arai project team, who won the Under $500K category. Congratulations team!

1st week for the DHC Movember team. Mo’s being grown and DHC run club established ✅

Congratulations to Marco Chui for being elected into the Engineering NZ Young Engineers Committee. Marco presented at Engineering NZ’s Stand and Chat event which encouraged thoughtful discussions and inspiration for the future of the profession.

Marco also won the Chief’s Executive Award for best lightning talk at the Concrete NZ conference. His talk “The Graduate Experience” highlighted the struggles of the transition into work and how senior colleagues can support this.

Our commercial team out on site for Health & Safety Day 2025!
From 5 storey classroom blocks to gantry cranes — we checked in on safety and progress at two incredible projects.
We were then lucky enough to end the day with a game of backyard cricket and some golf at the driving range!

Introducing Kāinga Haumaru Housing. A two storey apartment development in Pukekohe with cantilever roofs and wing walls to create striking features. Kāinga Haumaru is a community housing provider which supports people in recovery by providing sustainable housing and secure tenancies.
