Stunning Top End Property with all the Bells & Whistles

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Te Muri Ridge and wish we could have stayed longer! Prompt communication and great directions meant we found the property easily and from the minute we arrived Anna and Brian made us feel extremely welcome and at home. We were celebrating my birthday and there was a Happy Birthday sign and a delicious lemon heart cake waiting for us in the kitchen, along with a bottle of Ransom Wine from a local vineyard as well as a block of chocolate. We would have loved to enjoy the spa which has a gorgeous ocean view and had a few rounds of tennis on the tennis court but hubby was still recuperating from an operation on his legs so not an option this time. The whole apartment is incredibly spacious with the bedroom looking out onto the rolling hills, whilst the lounge has a view of the sea and hills. Everything you need and then some - slippers, robes, beautiful help yourself breakfast, loads of extras that make for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Would highly recommend this for a romantic getaway as there is so much to do in the area. Anna and Brian recommended The Puhoi Cheese Cafe - where we enjoyed a wonderful lunch and purchased some beautiful cheeses to have with the Wine they provided. The Matakana Markets on Saturday morning were humming and we also enjoyed a film later in the day at the lovely little Cinema. Got filmed at Puhoi Museum for a student finishing their thesis and enjoyed browsing around Warkworth and enjoying all the wonderful scenery. The beaches are plentiful and great for a brisk walk in Winter - and of course would be wonderful for swimming in summer - and not too crowded. Overall one of the loveliest, well equipped places we have ever stayed at, with attention to detail and then some!

Splendid isolation to remain for Te Muri Regional Park One of the most secluded beaches on Auckland's east coast will remain car free.

“A true home away from home experience...actually...it's BETTER than our own home! What makes Anna and Brian's place so special are not only the immaculately clean and spacious rooms, tasteful and warm décor, comfortable beds, thoughtful details especially baby-friendly essentials (love the dear notes even in his towels!) but to have met them, that was one of the highlights of this trip! From the initial hello to the afternoon spent by their gorgeous infinity pool enjoying sweets and coffee and to the sendoff, Anna and Brian welcomed us like we've been neighbors and friends for years! It's been hard traveling with a 2 year old and it was exactly what we needed to relax and finally feel like we're on vacation. We only hope we can reciprocate the favor when you guys visit Vancouver next but the scenic views and OMG lemon cake...will be hard to match! No goodbyes...only see you later!”

Tariffs & Availability
Rates are quoted in NZ$ and are inclusive of GST and include use of tennis court, pool and kayaks. The tariff is for two people and also includes complimentary breakfast items. Child’s single bed available at no additional cost.

The Barn tariff is $250 - $350 per night – Super King

2 nights saving Special tariff of $500 for 2 nights during November & December
Available from Saturday, 2 November 2013 to Monday, 16 December 2013

Special rates available for extended stays more than two nights.

Dining

As recommended in our Local Attractions and Dining guide, there are a wide selection of local cafes and restaurants in the Warkworth, Matakana and Orewa areas. The Barn has a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering.

Check-in and Check-out times

Check-in is 2.00 p.m. and check out by 11.00 a.m. although times are flexible subject to room availability and we will do our best to fit in with your travel schedules.
