I found a little bag in my son’s toy box.
It was called “The Happy Bag.” 🥹
And it got me thinking…
What’s in yours?
The things that make you laugh.
The people who light you up.
The memories you keep coming back to.
The little things that make an ordinary day feel extraordinary.
Life will always throw storms at us.
But happiness isn’t something we have to wait for when the storm passes.
Sometimes, we just need to remember what we already carry.
So… what’s in your Happy Bag? ❤️
Unshaken.
But stirred into action.

Yesterday, I asked a friend to come with me on a trip to the US.
His answer?
“What are you thinking? You make this sound so easy. I’m a responsible adult. I can’t just take a week off. I don’t really have the money. I can’t just drop everything and GO.”
And it made me think…
Is it really that we CAN’T?
Or is it that we don’t want it badly enough to figure out HOW?
What if sometimes it really could be this simple?
Take the week off.
Book the plane.
Get on.
Get off.
Have an adventure.
What if we made the occasional irrational life decision just a little bit faster?
Because life has taught me something:
Some of my best decisions came with fear attached.
“I can’t leave the team.”
“I don’t really have the money.”
“What if this goes wrong?”
“What if I make a complete fool of myself?”
Maybe fear isn’t always a STOP sign.
Sometimes it’s a sign that you’re standing at the edge of something you’ve never done before.
And THAT is the stuff you’ll still be talking about when you’re old.
Not the week you stayed home because it was sensible.
The week you said:
Screw it. I’m going.
Be brave.
Take the trip.
Make the call.
Get on the stage.
Start the thing.
Take the step you’ve never taken before.
Because sometimes the most responsible thing you can do with your life…
is actually LIVE it.
How do you drink 4 litres of water?
One sip at a time.
How do you eat an elephant?
One bite at a time. 🐘
And how do you change your life?
One choice. One step. One action at a time.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need to wait for the storm to pass.
Stay unshaken by the storm — but stirred into action.
Because your next chapter doesn’t start with a giant leap.
It starts with one small step.
Make today count. ✨

I dreamt about LEGO bricks last night.
Random, I know. 😂
But I woke up thinking…
How often do we spend years building something — a business, a career, a relationship, a life — only for it to fall apart?
And when it does, we stare at the pieces and think:
It’s broken. I have to start all over again.
But what if we don’t?
Because the structure might have broken.
The bricks didn’t.
We still have the experience.
The lessons.
The strength.
The mistakes.
The people we’ve met.
Everything we learned along the way.
So maybe the goal isn’t to rebuild exactly what we had.
Maybe it’s to try one more time and build something better.
Something more exciting.
Something higher.
Something that lets us see further than we ever could from where we stood before.
That, to me, is Unshaken but Stirred.
Not pretending the storm didn’t knock things down.
Picking up the bricks and choosing what we build next.
The structure broke. The bricks didn’t.

Unshaken but stirred: Don't wait for lives storm to pass. Its a day you might never get back. Dr. Alex Gilmore
Testimonial:
I’ve been studying personal development for over 15 years, and as a coach myself, I know that knowledge alone isn’t enough—it’s how it’s applied that creates real change.
That’s exactly what I’ve found with Alex. In just three months, the shift in my life has been remarkable. Her approach, genuine care, and ability to guide with empathy make this so much more than coaching.
I’m incredibly grateful for her support and excited about the path ahead. Thank you, Alex.
