Thankful to be invited to Sherwood School's celebration today to mark their Green-Gold level Enviro School status awarded through Sustainable Schools Auckland Amazing mahi by students, senior leadership, board of trustees, and staff including amazing enviro school teacher Karla Anderson

They have been supported in this journey by Garden to Table , Glasgow Contractors, Sustainable Schools Auckland, Auckland Council, Restore Hibiscus & Bays, New World Browns Bay, Bunnings Warehouse New Zealand in Silverdale, and Hibiscus And Bays Local Board.

We got to visit their mara kai, rongoa medicinal garden and ngahere.

We also presented their Trash Free Taiaotea certification following a waste audit in February, as the amazing students compost their food scraps, recycle soft plastics at New World Browns Bay, separate out recyclables, and contribute kai to the Taiaotea Browns Bay Pātaka Kai.
