The Fireplace Ltd

One fire, two ways to install.

This Stovax Studio 2 is an ultimate high heat output, clean-air burning wood fireplace. You have the freedom to install this as an inbuilt fireplace that sits flush into an existing structure, or as a freestanding fireplace with a steel cabinet that stands on its own.

The Stovax Studio 2 represents the pinnacle of British fireplace design, engineering and technical innovation.

The iconic Gyrofocus!

Since 1968, the Gyrofocus has been the fire that breaks the rules — suspended, spinning a full 360°, named the World's Most Beautiful Object.

Now, we have the luxury to choose how it burns: Wood (Open Fire), Wood Slow Combustion (Closed Fire), or Bioethanol — and the wood model even steps outside, with an outdoor-treated version for covered patio spaces. So many ways to bring this French icon into your home or project.

Supreme Renovation of the Year — and our Onyx Avanti Electric Fireplace was right there in the mix!

Huge recognition for TP Builders whose heritage villa renovation "Tender Loving Care" has been named Supreme Renovation of the Year at the 2026 Auckland/Northland/Coromandel House of the Year Awards.

This heritage villa renovation is a masterclass in balancing old and new — preserving the character of the original villa while creating warm, liveable spaces for modern life.

We supplied TP Builders with our Onyx Avanti Electric Fireplace for this project, and it's fantastic to see it featured in such an award-winning result.

Combining form and function with European design.

The Stûv 30 Compact One is one of NZ's cleanest wood burners, with a 360° rotating firebox that lets you direct warmth and flame view anywhere in the room. Compact by design, it's ideally suited to well-insulated, low-energy homes without giving up that lovely view of elongated flames.
