Seems like we are tuning more and more BMW’s these days. Which is great, helping as many clients as we can.
2015 BMW 435i Grand coupe
This was an amazing car to drive after tuning was completed. We asked the client what he liked, disliked of@the way the car was factory tuned. So set upon improving his dislikes and boy did we deliver.
Stock power : 305hp / 400nm
Tuned power : 385 / 570nm
We had to swap out the factory charge pipe. Since they are prone to failure.

By this stage, we have plenty petrol and diesel BMW’s under our belt.
This 2016 BMW 335D X-Drive Motorsport. What an amazing vehicle and combo of features.
This being pretty quick in stock form all things considered. Especially while it was on its stock wheels.
On these 19” wheels which are relatively heavy. It did a respectable 0-100 in 5.8 seconds and 13.9 on the quarter mile.
Upgrades done by client
- full turbo back exhaust
- intercooler upgrade
- swirl flap delete
- intake walnut blasting
Power (custom HSP tuned ECU / TCU)
Stock : 313hp / 630Nm
Tuned : 398hp / 780Nm
After some time on the track? Client managed a whopping 12.45 on the 1/4 mile. Considering a slow 2.0 60ft. There is soo much more to come for this vehicle.
We are confident with some tweaking, we will get this wagon to achieve 11 second quarter mile times. Craziest part is client still often achieves 5.1L/100km considering the power increase. Without fuel efficiency dropping.

2011 BMW 335D
This was something we always wanted to tune and since they are rare in NZ. It’s not something we have plenty of.
What we provided
- walnut blasting on inlet
- swirl flap delete
- front mount intercooler
- EGR delete
- DPF / CAT delete (already in vehicle)
- custom exhaust (downpipe + catback)
So once all maintenance was completed and vehicle inspected. We started getting into the tuning side of things. Was this a blast to do and drive afterwards? 110% absolutely
Stock : 286hp / 580Nm
Tuned : 395hp / 750Nm
Since the stock gearbox software torque limits are 700Nnm. We decided it’s best, to custom tune the zf6hp gearbox software with improved shifting, increased clamping pressures. Giving our client the peace of mind, long term motoring ahead. Staying on top of servicing.

2023 Ford Focus ST
Here we have something we normally don’t get too often, however we like a challenge and enjoy providing a great solution to clients.. always.
After doing some home work, we found the best and safest way to tune this vehicle was via bench. So we proceeded to remove the ecu, read the content start with the calibration and upload. Back in the vehicle and perform as much data logging as we could, since we want to insure each car is perfect every single time. Around 6 revisions later we were finally happy.
Clients had this car all around the country and even on track. Embarrassing some bigger HP cars on the track too.

- adjusted flaps to allow more air to the intercooler

Tuned : 310hp / 520Nm
We limited final output due to stock intercooler. If intake and intercooler was to be added? Man this would be an absolute rocket of a focus.

Here we have another VW Tiguan 2.0TSI… now for something wild!!!
For a few weeks prior to tuning and building this car, we worked with the owner diagnosing and rectifying and fixing a few small issues… like leaking timing chain cover, faulty PCV (only use genuine… nothing else) and new coil packs. We tuned this to stage 1 and less than 24 hours later, client wanted to go full steam ahead
Supplying the following parts
- Tiguan specific 3” downpipe
- APR intercooler
- K04 TSI specific turbo
- upgraded spark plugs
After getting all the hardware installed and completed… we got onto tuning the ECU and DSG gearbox.
Stock power : 132kw / 280Nm
New power : 278kw / 540Nm
Making for one seriously quick Tiguan, managing a staggering 4.3 0-100kph. Down from 8.3 0-100kph

This stunning Audi S3 came in already dyno tuned, but concerned about shifting harshness and also inconsistent boost. We were tasked with looking at tuning and or advising the best way forward.
First thing we did was capture data from the vehicle on both ECU and TCU side. Speaking with the owner we could quickly see some issues. We recommended we revert to completely stock software and retest the vehicle.
Looking at stock logs and driving, we found zero issues with shifting or stock performance issues. Car ran pretty much stock 0-100. Confirming issue was within software
We started retuning the vehicle for stage 2 ECU, matched it with correct parameters on TCU side of software, made a few revisions until we were happy.
Gave the client the vehicle back and he could not believe the massive difference in performance. A few weeks went past, he was also amazed at the much better fuel efficiency he now had as well.
Tuning is our jam, we have been doing so for a little over 14 years now. Proving that sometimes we don’t need to be the new kids on the block, instead experiencing and testament to many hundreds of cars we have tuned, still run strong and always enjoyed by their owners.

Here we have a Mk7 gti wanting more power but wanted to retain stock intercooler and stock downpipe.
So we upgraded to IS38 (Golf R turbo) on the stock downpipe and then proceeded to custom tune the vehicle to support stock downpipe along with matching gearbox software.
Stock software : 147kw / 280nm
Upgrade software : 260kw / 480nm
While retaining fuel efficiency and improved drivability. Providing a solution for almost any combination.

Here we have a Mercedes C200, that came in for some tuning.
Not only did we transform the vehicle taking it from 187hp all the way to 268hp we also increased the torque by over 100Nm.
This now makes for a very fun car to drive, fuel efficiency improvements, most importantly how the car should have rolled off of the production line.
