Women in neighbouring Visoto and Nacobo villages in Fiji were excited to receive bras recently. Thanks Nathan for the photos!

In the humid climate, women can get fungal infections, rashes and even ulcers on the chest wall under their breasts. Bras help with airflow and are much appreciated!

More bras dropped off to the very appreciative Breast Cancer Foundation in Rarotonga. Big thanks to Mandy Riley for taking bras with her on holiday!

I picked up 36 boxes in three trips from Mainfreight Auckland in the last week sent by our coordinators in Wellington, Masterton and New Plymouth. This is probably about 2500 bras. Thanks to all you wonderful women out there who have been donating or collecting bras, we can make dreams come true for our sisters in the Pacific! Keep them coming ladies!

A big thank you also to Mainfreight for sponsoring our freight between depots. We appreciate it sooo much!

‘Maggie and her sister-in-law in Malakati village were thrilled - next time I need more bags!’ Message from my friend Caroline as she continues handing out bras as she and her husband sail in the remote Yasawa Islands in Fiji.

Every bra counts! My friend Julie could only fit 10 bras in her luggage and gave them to the housekeeper at the resort shes staying at in Fiji. Julie writes:
‘Essi was sooooo grateful for the bras! She works here at the resort and will take them to her village. She was so excited, I wish I had more to give her!’

We get bras to the Pacific any way we can, including on yachts! My friend Caroline took some with her when sailing from NZ to the remote Yasawa Islands in Fiji recently. Here she gave some to a woman on Nanuya island to share with other locals.

Caroline writes ‘Here's one happy lady!! She told me she only had 2 bras and had to give her friend one of them, and they were really old but that she cannot easily get underwear of course!!!!! She was thrilled!’
