We’re holding a Drury/South Auckland community information day on Saturday 22 August from 10am-1pm at Drury School Hall, 23-33 Young Crescent, Drury, Auckland.

Come and meet members of our teams, have your questions answered and learn more about various projects affecting the area, including:
- State Highway 1 (SH1) Papakura to Drury project
- State Highway 22 Drury upgrade project
- Waihoehoe Road upgrade project
- SH1 Papakura to Bombay project
- Auckland Urban Development Office: Drury neighbourhood
- KiwiRail: Drury Rail Stations
- Auckland Transport: New bus services and train stations; Takaanini level crossings projects.

It isn’t practical to film this event for sharing online. No formal presentations are given and visitors circulate among separate stands for each project represented. Visitors can view maps and information boards and speak to project team members about those projects of interest to them. The various project maps and information are generally available online at each organisation/project website.

New strategy sets a clear direction for a healthier Manukau Harbour Auckland Council has adopted a new long-term strategy to help restore the health of Manukau Harbour.

🌉This morning we attended the blessing of the newly constructed bridges at Te Maahia and Takaanini stations - which will be ready for passengers on Monday 24 August.

The opening of the two new pedestrian bridges marks an important milestone with all pedestrian rail level crossings on the Eastern Line and Southern Line north of Papakura now removed.

The new bridges will support more frequent train services both when City Rail Link opens and as demand grows in the coming decades.

They also provide safer access to stations and better connections between communities on either side of the rail corridor.
