oji berries, blueberries ,fruiting chillies, other berry fruits, citrus, peanuts and many others. Our brands include Proven Winners, Bambino Bougainvilleas, Garden Fresh and Quality Growers introductions. Our new edible introductions are marketed under the Garden Fresh brand. Subtropical plants suitable for the upper North Island are of particular interest and a range of these are in production. Container Nurseries is a member of the Proven Winners group, Quality Growers group and the Nursery & Garden Industry Association of New Zealand. Container Nurseries supply most major garden centres and chains in the North Island as well as landscapers and local bodies and have product for sale at Concept Botanica in Auckland. Our nursery is situated on a 4 hectare block in Whenuapai,18 kilometres North West of Auckland City so we are very close to our predominant market, the Auckland area. Approximately 90% of all plants produced at Container Nurseries are propagated on site. We have three level 2 quarantine facilities that are in operation at the nursery for the importation of new plant varieties. All product is potted mechanically and machinery for post potting and handling has been fabricated and is being used with great success.
