The 2am phone call.

Tree down on the road? I'm usually first on the list. If I don't pick up, it goes to Dale. Sorry mate, happened again recently.

From there it's ringing round the boys to find a crew, sorting traffic control, a crane if we need one, all before sunrise.

We get to site, clear it, make it safe and get the road open. Then we come back the next day to do the job properly and assess if there's more work to do.

We worked with the Hibiscus and Bays community group to help eradicate Phoenix palms from the area, starting with the main offenders at Waiwera campground.
