Capitol Signs

No holes. No shortcuts. Big impact.

This temporary KFC installation at Eden Park had one golden rule: don't touch the wall.

We laser-scanned the façade, engineered a custom steel framework, and built the entire installation using existing fixings only. The result is a bold, illuminated brand presence that's rock solid during events, and disappears without leaving a mark.

Looks permanent. Leaves nothing behind. And wins awards!

Gold is our favourite colour! With maybe a bit of silver…

Working with Robert Jahnke Nga Hau neon, development from concept to completion.

Starting with a sketch, creating working prototypes and assembling the finished neon artwork. Always a pleasure collaborating with such a great sculptural artist and educator.

The coolest Lil old lion red sign I've ever seen

Had a young fella come in with this super old original lion red sign, even the logo was screen printed. The sign had a story to tell and was for something special. I wanted to buy it off him, but this changed my mind.

He got it off his grandad and wanted it fixed to give to his brother for his 30th birthday. It needed a new unit, but also needed a tr**ny, full refurbishment, pieces glued back together, and a super good clean.

He was super happy with the result, even got us a box of red. One of the coolest original bar signs I’ve ever seen.

Changing the view for Christmas. Pohutukawa on the deck at Silverdale Mall.
